Summary: Sounds like a speaker in a beer can. "Cabinet" seems like it is very thin plastic. I have re-boxes these and need to return them to the store. A big waste of time as I already waited 20-30 when picking these up.
Summary: I decided to refurbish an old console record player which had no working electrical parts, speakers included. I looked around for quite some time deciding on which type of speakers I wanted to replace the old ones with and how much money I wanted to put into this project. Because I was modifying the original layout of the console I needed something that would fit into the small openings of the console, throw out some good volume and sound quality, These worked well for...
Summary: I purchased these as placeholders for testing a design for a hidden hi-fi stereo satellite setup built into a bed frame. (Note: Never consider any audio equipment in this price range to be hi-fi.) They seemed great for their size, price, and somewhat decent specs, but the speakers I received literally sounded awful.
Summary: Hooked these up to a Lepai amp for a 'cheap' fix of my television's rear firing speakers. Dramatically improved the sound and boy does it get loud. It lacks bass, but I don't need that for my bedroom television. If you're looking for something with some oomph, take a peak at the Andrew Jones Pioneer bookshelf speakers that frequently go on sale, however, is considerably larger in size and higher cost.
The best thing I did was to replace my 7 year old JBLs with these little jewels. Everything sounds louder and better!

Summary: Oh my goodness. I think I'll keep this review to myself. Don't want everybody to get these and get them off stock, ha! I usually could never hear stuff behind me with the original JBLs that my Toshiba amplifier came with. With these Pyles, everything has changed. From my Gran Turismo 6 racing to Skyrim questing, and Man of Steel watching, this speakers are a God sent to me!!!
Summary: Pyle PCB3BK 3" mini-cube speakers- I bought these to mount next to my wifes chair for when she watches TV. She is in her 60's, hard of hearing, and having the main Bose speakers blasting me out of the living room so she can hear when the actors are talking softly is not a pleasant way to watch a movie together. These small speakers don't have the base punch of bigger ones, but they do a good job of the mid range which is where most human speech is.
