  • Summary: These are truly great speakers. They are very balanced, nothing stands out on its own, they just portray a musical, balanced sound. I've used these speakers with a Mac SS amp and they sounded wonderful. I am currently trying them out with a 50 watt tube amp, and they sound is spectacular. The Synchrony One's offer a balanced sound with nice, non fatiguing treble, which I really value.

Synchrony One - Excellent Speaker Package

Paul from New Paltz NY, Crutchfield
19 October 2013
  • Summary: PSB has always made exceptional speakers for the price point but the Synchrony Ones take it to a whole new level. In direct listening comparisons of an older set of 5Ts, Synchrony 2 and Synchrony one the Synchrony Ones bested the other speaker by a wide margin. Listening to all three play the center channel from a DVD audio of America's second album the bass sounded like a true bass guitar where as the older 5Ts had all the right detail but it didn't match the sound and...
  • Pros: Excellent accuracy and lifelike reproduction
  • Cons: None that I can see or hear....worth well more than their asking price

PSB Synchrony One

Guy W., Crutchfield
15 October 2013
  • Summary: Excellent build quality and superior sound. I recently replaced a pair of Polk LSI25 with the PSBs. The LSI25 were a fair speakers in build and sound quality. The PSB Synchrony One is in class far above the LSI25. Out of the box they produce a marginal sound but in a short time they have attained a clarity and brilliance that I am unaccustomed to. I expect they will get even better with use.
  • Pros: Sound and build quality, exceptional.
  • Cons: None

  • Summary: Amazing clarity, even at low volume levels. Treble, Mids & Bass sound so perfect and balanced. Please only buy them if you have the downstream components to do them justice & certainly not a budget A/V receiver (they will still sound great but you will not know what they are capable of). What amazes me is the space between the different layers of Sound. If I ever upgrade from this it will be when I can afford speakers in the 15-20K range.

PSB1 Bookshelf Speakers

  • Summary: I gave these speakers a 5 star rating. They are truly great sounding speakers. I couldn't be happier. I replaced my older speakers that were a lesser brand and what a difference. If you are ready to take a plunge into the somewhat higher end speakers start here! Rich sound, clear and paired with the right amplifier get ready to be blown away!
  • Pros: Great sound, nice size, simple and good looking design.
  • Cons: none as of now

  • Summary: These speakers are as good as speakers several times their price. This review says it all: http://www.hometheater.com/content/psb-synchrony-one-speaker-system. In my own words, once they broke in (I was disappointed with their performance straight out of the box but speakers of this caliber require some conditioning before they attain their brilliance) they became majestic. Their accuracy and sound-staging is unparalleled in their price range. Buy these speakers.
  • Pros: Superb sound-staging with no coloration.
  • Cons: There are no cons to these speakers
