Summary: Entry level floor speaker. Construction is not bad but no low end. Tried to use them as back surround and even with 2 12in subs they couldn't fill that end of the room when listening to music on all speaker stereo. I replaced them with TSi 500 and got the sound I expected to get with these.
Summary: Honestly , I expected a little more from the TSI400s but I won't complain too loudly yet. The mids are pretty good, the highs are average and the lows are as well. I paired this with an 8" Polk Sub. It sounds alright but I am not blown out of the water by any means.
Summary: Great sounding speaker overall. I purchased scratch and dent and tweeter was actually falling out when I received the speaker . I knew what I was getting into with the scratch and dent though so I fixed it myself , no biggie .
Nice Sound at All Volumes, Poses Danger to Children

Summary: I recently purchased two, factory-refurbished TSi 400 loudspeakers and they sound great. However, they have very small footprints and are top-heavy, which means they are easily knocked over. I am concerned that my small children will knock them over and/or be hurt by a falling speaker tower.
Summary: After weeks of reading all the great reviews on the Polk Audio Tsi400 speakers and contemplating upgrading I finally found them on sale at a local electronics store so I went in to listen to a pair. I wanted to upgrade from the cheap Sony SS-MF550H speakers that I've had for awhile.
