Summary: Owned these for a cour years. If you pay 500 for a pair of these you are crazy. Please keep putting away your pennies and step up to mangnas or the paradigms. Look. These are fine but they are so not exciting. Even with the center and the sub they are boring. You can do better.
Summary: I was really impressed with the sound of these speakers, even after reading all the positive reviews. I started off streaming a lot of pandora via Directv and for the lower quality of pandora it sounded really good, by far the best sounding streamed music I have heard coming from a floor standing...
Summary: These Speakers were worth every penny and then some! I just LOVE their sound and amazed by the powerful bass it puts out for such small package! The Cherry wood grain looks great in my Record Cave and gets lots of compliments!
Summary: Ditto what the other positive reviews said. Don't hesitate to pull the trigger on these. My girlfriend is a music freak and was blown away by the clarity of these. I upgraded my theater room's 15 year old Onkyo surround bundle.
Summary: These speakers both look and sound beautiful. The day after my purchase, the price dropped quite significantly. A quick email to World Wide Stereo provided shockingly excellent customer service. My account was immediately credited for the difference without any hassle whatsoever.
Summary: I purchased these speakers along with the Polk CS10 Center Channel speaker in order to give my front sound stage a boost and I am completely satisfied. They look and sound terrific with the rest of my surround system. I have a Yamaha Receiver, four Polk satellites and two Boston Acoustic Subs.
Pros: Professional Polk Sound. Sleek and gorgeous look and feel.
Cons: If you want room shattering bass for movie special effects and music you will need a sub-woofer integrated in your system with these speakers. They play beautiful highs and tight mid-range bass but for the low end bass a sub is the only way to go.
