Summary: I was blown away at the sound quality of these speakers at this price point of $169.00 per speaker. I've owned Polk speakers along time ago and was impressed then. I was blown away at the sound quality of these new Polk speakers at this price point of $169.00 per speaker.
Summary: They sounded somewhat tinny during the first few weeks of use but this gradually went away. They initially had poor bass but again after a few weeks the bass greatly improved when they became broken in. The highs are fantastic. Overall you can't beat them for the price. They have a unique sound quality you will only find from Polk.
Summary: I have both the TSi400 and the TSi300 speakers and I find both sets to be excellent. Nice balanced full sound when attached to my Yamaha receivers. My CDs and vinyl sound better than I ever imagined they could. I purchased both sets directly from OneCall and highly recommend them as a vendor. My speakers and receiver were very well packaged and shipping out by FedEx the same day I ordered them. A tracking number was also provided.
Summary: For budget priced speakers these sound great. I have 18 year old Energy C-6s for our home theater mains (Canadian made). While these Polks don't have quite the bass or soundstage of the C-6s they would work well as mains if paired with a subwoofer.
Summary: After reading reviews about this product I decided to buy it. This is a huge difference compared to my Polk book shelf speakers. The speakers are sturdy and look beautiful. I played a few songs with my woofer turned off, and the sound was good. Of course when I turned on my woofer, things got better. If you are like me, you are reading lots of reviews before purchasing. I read negative and the overwhelming positive reviews.
The sound is almost too clear! If you are looking for budget speakers, avoid Sony and spend a little more on Polk

Summary: Economics 101 - rate of dimishinng return. For example, there is a huge difference between $150/pair speakers and $300/pair speakers. As we move up the price ranges, the sound quality difference between $300 speakers and $600 speakers gets smaller. If we compare $600 and 1200 speakers, the difference becomes yet smaller. Well, in the real world, there is indeed a lot of difference between $150 Sony SSF-5000 and $300 Polk.
Summary: have not yet used it in full power, but its the best decision i have ever made for improving my sound system. coupled with the cs10 cneter channel and BIC subwoofer. now i can enjoy the movies and music the way i always wanted to.
Summary: My front L and R satellites blew out recently so I decided to replace them with floor standing speakers. After some research I decided to go with these. Luckily at the time these were on sale for $100 each so I snatched them up quickly and I couldn't be more satisfied. These are easily worth the $200 retail price. The sound is crisp and clear for both movies and music. I have no complaints as of yet.
Summary: The TSi300 is not a speaker that gives you the last 2%, but at the price it is much better than you would expect. Compared to the similar from some others I think it is an easy choice to make. Speakers are personal, I have always liked the sound from the bigger boxes with large high compliance speakers, this is not the same, but it does not have the typical tight, little box sound, nor does it have the transparency of the high end electrostatics, but it is very, very...
I consider myself an 'audiophile' and am STUNNED at the sound/value of these speakers!
