Summary: My first experience with Polk speakers was about 4 years ago when I was listening to various brands in a store with my sister who was about to make a purchase. She agreed that the Polk "sound bar" was the right choice for her new TV. Since then I always looked to Polk audio and I have purchased their Atrium outdoor speakers for my deck. I am so glad that I bought the TSi200's for TV viewing. They are without a doubt exactly what speakers should be.
A very near miss, good bang for the buck, but not 1 of the true greats

Summary: OK, many rave reviews on these speakers but I have a less shining opinion... the rear ported bass response is rich, natural sounding and deep compared to many full range bookshelf speakers but unfortunately, the highs are edgy and harsh to the ear in the 3k - 5k range. They do not lack high end sizzle as much as those frequencies are overpowered by the sharp frequencies the tweeters seem to emphasize.
Summary: Outstanding sound quality and beautiful cabinetry for a relatively inexpensive bookshelf speaker. Those who are critical of the bass level put out by this speaker are making a ridiculous comparison to much larger speakers. Buy with confidence.
Summary: I bought these speakers to replace my smaller, but very good surround speakers.I was'nt sure how much of a difference they would make. Was I ever surprised they created a surround sound field that I had been looking for. Expansive and enveloping with great detail.
Pros: Attractive Design, Crisp and detailed sound, Easy To Setup, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: i purchased the TSi200's to replace my main front channel speakers which were some old Pioneer hand me downs I acquired in college. The Pioneers are nothing special...as in they are pretty average at everything and definitely don't suck. I moved them to the rear channel to ultimately complete my home theater 5.1 surround sound. I performed my first test with the opening scene in Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith.
Summary: I bought these Polk bookshelf speakers to replace a pair of much larger floor speakers which I have owned for over 20 years. I was worried about giving up my older speakers, but wanted smaller form factor. I listen to jazz myself, and classical music with my wife. Irarely crank up the volume, but they are in a large living room full of very absorptive materials. We got smaller size, but we also got bigger sound!
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact size, Easy to Mount, Easy To Setup, Good looking, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality, High quality materials, Warm Sound
Pros: These speakers are a tremendous buy for the money. They are precise and have surprising bass. They really can handle the power and although they are great at low power, you can push it up and they just get better. Highly recommend for 2 channel.
Cons: They are a little bigger than I thought they would be.
Summary: My actual rating to be precise is between Excellent and good. These is phenomenal and goof looking pair of front satellite speakers with highs that are crystal clear as are the mids, better than many other speakers in the same price range. In a mome theatre 7.1 environment, the audio imaging and spectrum response is excellent. One also needs to use 12 AWG gage wiring to truely relise their full potential!!!
