Summary: All I can say is wow. In fact, even my wife is impressed. I do not own the most elaborate Home Theater Equipment by any standard. Over the past 6 months, I have been slowly but surely replacing a legacy Onkyo setup. Step one was the purchase of a basic Yamaha RX-V377 to drive my setup. Next purchase was this Polk Center Channel Speaker.
Summary: I was using only two flood speakers for TV/Movie watching. I added this to my system to increase dialogue volume and reduce various effect sounds. Was a little tinny compared to what I was used to, but after a month of use my ears have adjusted.

Summary: I recently set up a 5.1 system that includes this center speaker, 4 mc60s and a PSW111 polk subwoofer. I was skeptical at first, but decided to take a chance with Polk (mainly because the mc60s had such great reviews. The surround sounds great. Music sounds good too although I'm still trying to figure out how the receiver works, which seems to enable certain speakers automatically depending on the sound format.
Summary: Very disappointed with this speaker. I've had it for a little over a month and it seems to be getting worse. While watching movies, the speaker emits a constant buzz whenever music or action noises happens. I've had to turn the channel power way down to get rid of the noise but now I can't hear the vocals on the movie. Im outside of the return window so I'm not sure what options I have. Very disappointing for how much I paid.
