Summary: A couple years ago I purchased Polk RM6750 5.1 package which produces great sound but Center lacked clear voice clarity so I replaced it with TL2-C and what a positive difference its made. Its lows are just ok my sub fills that void . It does provide excellent mids & highs resulting in crisp dialog excellent sound quality a major major step up from my older RM6-C. Bottom Line.
Summary: I got these speakers and a Polk psw111sub. I ended up buying this one as I saw many reviews saying that these are better than bose. For comparison I got just the bose satellite speakers for comparison . The difference was day and night. Bose was the best. I have a Yamaha vx-773. There was no difference between the subwoofers of bose and Polk . They say bose is overpriced, but their quality is still unmatched.
Summary: Setting: Relatively small den (14' X 20') recently upgraded and decorated, laced with bookshelves. A Denon 5.1 receiver serves as the workhorse...four TL2's and a Polk PSW110 woofer(cherry cabinet) finish the job. A TV is not associated with this Audio center. That system is in a larger den. The shelves are loaded with, well, books and prized plates, vases, pictures, etc.
Summary: I had purchased a TL1 center channel and liked it so much, I decided to upgrade my whole system. I decided to use the TL2 satellites for front left and right channel to better blend bass response with the TL1 center. The TL1 satellites have a steeper roll-off on the bottom end, and have a cutoff frequency that is about 30Hz higher than the TL1 center channel, whereas the TL2's have a nearly identical frequency response to the TL1 Center.
