Summary: These speakers are awesome. My first set of Polk Audio front speakers, I replaced some old Cerwin Vega 12" with these and they are sweet. The highs, the mids, are outstanding. If you are a Bass lover (or like Hip Hop music like me) you might want to add a subwoofer for earth shattering bass...
Summary: I picked these up about a week ago from J&R in Manhattan, taking the advice of someone else who wrote a review on here since these are $118 each to get shipped. The pickup was relatively trouble-free; I was in and out in about an hour, with an extra 15 minutes trying to figure out how to get them to...
Summary: I'm not an audio expert.. but certainly no need for a sub woofer with these big boys. The only negative is that both boxes were in taters when they arrived at the door. But fortunately speakers were in perfect condition.
Summary: I have had these speakers for a few months now and I am very happy. I purchased them from J&R in NYC for $500 for the pair including tax. J&R even paid for my parking when I went to pick them up.
Summary: I upgraded from a 5 year old sony HTIB to Polk Audio after experiencing my friend's setup. He had RTI8 and I got the RTI10's. I could not believe the sound quality, esp. the highs and mid's. You need good highs and mids for Bollywood music.
Summary: The speakers sound great. They have a wide range and I bought them for a great price on amazon. This is my first pair of tower speakers so I don't have any thing to compare them to, but I love them. The only problem is the design.
Summary: These speakers are great. I paired them with all Polk speakers for a 7.1 setup and I am not disappointed. Last night I cranked the system for the first time and they delivered crisp, clean sound. I did end up getting the Polk 10" sub.
