Summary: I had PSB Image T6 towers. They received rave reviews, but frankly I was disappointed in their bass capabilities. I powered them with an Emotiva XPA-5, so not enough power was not an issue. I was hesitant to try the Polk brand, but many positive reviews led me to give them a shot. Absolute wonderful sound. Some say that paired with an Emotiva amp would produce a bright sound. I did not find this to be true. A note on the purchase.

Summary: I had a pair of Polk T65 speakers and they sounded great, but with my high current amp I could not listen to them at high volume. When I bought these RTI A7,I read the review on them about how you had to have a lot of power to make these function properly. That's not true, I am only running 135 watts and got them bi-amped. They are so clear that I did not realize how high the volume is.
The finish on the RTi A7 is much better than the finish on the Infinity

Summary: I wanted to get these through Amazon, but wound up going with another audio retailer that dropped their price a few days before Amazon did. I had already waited a year to pull the trigger, so I couldn't wait and risk that supplies would run low. The RTi A7s replace a pair of Infinity Compositions Overture 2 speakers. I also bought the matching CSi A6 center channel to replace my Infinity CC-3 center.
