Summary: Best sounding speakers I've ever heard. These are great for movies (I paired it with a CSI A6 center) and you can tell they are timber matched. For music I'll set it to 2.1 and let these two monsters rock. The sound is amazing, low, medium, and highs. I have a subwoofer with these but I don't think one is necessary unless you need the real low rumbling from war movies. They look really good too, very heavy and very well built.
Summary: I listen to 2-channel stereo, mostly acoustic, piano and voice. I bought these speakers at Crutchfields, where I sat in the test room for an hour with my eyes closed and listened everything, selecting only on the basis of sound quality and not price or size. The sound of these speakers is simply thrilling: beautiful, clear, spatial, accurate sound. My wife did not want them because they are tall and important to note, deep.

Summary: You have to allow ample time fir rhe speakers to warm up. Do not rush. Break in your apeakers slowly at a low colume and geadually increase the volume after a few hours. I thought at the start that there was some problem with the speakers cuz it sounded like a cheap or home made speakers. Now, after about 8 hrs. Of using it, they sound awesome, at their price range nothing compares. No ear fatigue. Jazz music comes alive on these speakers.
Summary: I had PSB Image T6 towers. They received rave reviews, but frankly I was disappointed in their bass capabilities. I powered them with an Emotiva XPA-5, so not enough power was not an issue. I was hesitant to try the Polk brand, but many positive reviews led me to give them a shot. Absolute wonderful sound. Some say that paired with an Emotiva amp would produce a bright sound. I did not find this to be true. A note on the purchase.

Summary: I had a pair of Polk T65 speakers and they sounded great, but with my high current amp I could not listen to them at high volume. When I bought these RTI A7,I read the review on them about how you had to have a lot of power to make these function properly. That's not true, I am only running 135 watts and got them bi-amped. They are so clear that I did not realize how high the volume is.
