Summary: I have had these speakers for about 3 weeks and I am very impressed. Cosmetically these speakers are very nice to look at. The cherry finish and the real wood construction makes these speakers look expensive and they feel well built. The teardrop design combined with the cherry finish makes the speakers look elegant (for speakers) and should certainly help get wife approval.
Summary: GREAT sound out of a bookshelf speaker. Excellent high, mid-range and decent bass for a small package. Could use a separate woofer if you want floor-thumping base, but I am a 60's-70's rocker and don't feel it's necessary. Cherry cabinets have a superior wood finish as if they were a piece of furniture. Worth every penny; very satisfied!
Summary: There great. I have 4 of them along with the A9s and a7s the Csi a6 center in cherry and last but not least the fxi a6s in white that go on the side walls.. they have good sound best I've heard for the price sound better than klipsch that's for sure and u can't beat the look and the finish that beautiful glossy cherry
Summary: I hooked these up to a new Outlaw RR-2150 and a ProJect Xpression turntable with Audio Technica 440mla cartridge. I have a small space in Manhattan, so floor-standing speakers would be inconsiderate to my neighbors. The RTI A3s are as close as I want to get to an eviction notice! Huge, rich, full sound. Clear as a bell, airy, 3-D. I was growing worried about some reviews saying these speakers are "bright.
Like the RTI A1, excellent, but takes plenty of time to get to that point.

Summary: Don't know where Polk is coming up with the 40 hour break in...takes way longer....100 plus. I would say closer to 200 with these RTI's. They sound harsh out of the box...voices just are not right. I went through this with my A1's...took a long time to smooth out/ clear up. Like another reviewer, I found even my old inexpensive Polk T15's sounded better...smoother, no ear stress/strain. I was even switching them out Friday Nights (movie night around here).
and would highly recommend these. I am using them as my front ...

Summary: I was skeptical to purchase these, but I needed to replace my floor speakers to a bookshelf type due to space limitations after a TV upgrade. I had Polk Audio floor speakers, middle of the road, that were 12 years old. I have to say, WOW, I am impressed. What a difference in sound quality. The crisp, clear sound was a huge difference from my older Polks. No regrets, and would highly recommend these.
