Summary: This is a compact center speaker that I use in a 14X12 room in a 5.1 set up. Driven by a fairly inexpensive Denon 5.1 receiver with a dedicated amp per channel. Sounds very good especially considering the size. Obviously it should be used with a nice powered sub as the drivers are fairly small. So, if you have a small to medium size room and only a small footprint for your center speaker - then this is a great option.
Never knew that a center channel speaker would make this much difference to my stereo system.

Summary: I'm enjoying TV like I have never done before. I'm not raising the volume to annoying levels just to here the dialog. Highly recommend it for a larger room. Mine sits at the end of a 12x20 room and there isn't a bad seat anywhere.
Summary: I wanted a center channel speaker that wouldn't call attention to itself based on its physical size, but still delivered great sound. This is that speaker! I've always heard that Polk produced quality speakers and this one is a great example. The sound it produces belies its small size, and the quality of the sound is excellent. I highly recommend!
Summary: This speaker is a great value. I have a mix and match set including some very nice and large (but ancient) JBL front speakers I don't want to replace ever if I don't have to. I'd been using a phantom center for a while and wanted to try a real center with the hope that I would increase the clarity of vocals in movies/TV without decreasing the sound quality by shifting the burden from my big front speakers to a cheap and small center.
