Summary: I don't know whethr or not I fit the typical mold of an audiophyle, but I am a blind music lover and musician, and I have a pretty discerning audio palette. I bought these speakers about fourteen months ago and then promptly moved into an apartment where I was unable to set them up.
Summary: The Polk Audio RM6750 5.1 system is pretty good, considering how much you pay for it. It produces pretty good sound, but it's not going to compete with the higher end speakers from Boston Acoustics, JBL, Cerwin Vega, or Definitive (at this price point it's not supposed to).
Summary: I'm not an audiophile by any means, but these speakers suit me well. I set out looking for a set of speakers in the 200-300 range and was let down by the choices. One of my friends spotted this one on Ebay and after comparing the specs to other sets in the same price range, I felt it was worth...
Summary: As a stereo buff and someone who takes pride in his equipment only buying the very best I can afford. Which required a lot of research. I have the top of the line high end sony and 7.1 bose in my home theater with additional 12" infinity 300w powered sub.
Summary: Had my RM6750 5.1 set for about 1 and half months now and they are literally perfect. Before I purchased the RM6750 I compared it to all other 5.1 sets like the Polk RM705, Klipsch HD300 and Boston Acoustic MCS100 kit and the Polk's sounded the best to me in the testing room.
Summary: I bought these speakers on December 21st when I saw that the seller, Electronics Expo, would ship it by December 24th. I was flying to Orlando on the 24th so I entered the Orlando address. It was great to see, when I checked in at the hotel, that the package was there!
Summary: I was shopping online and in several big box retail stores looking for a home theater option that wouldn't break the bank and give our 42" LCD some life. I was seriously considering several home theater systems in a box before checking out Amazon and finding this Polk product.
Summary: The sound quality from these speakers is truly amazing. I had a set of Sony speakers for years and all of a sudden I am hearing things I never heard before. Bought these along with an extra two speakers for my 7.1 surround system.
Summary: We decided to get a new TV and place over our Fireplace which also meant up-grading everything else to go along with it- So off to the local big box store we go... i was offered a Klipsh Surround system (went there for advertised Polk Audio which was sold out)-the Klipsh set was "open Box" -but was...
Summary: I bought each piece of this system separately as I wanted to add my own newly purchased Sony SA-W2500 10" powered sub instead of using the 8" sub that came with the set. I realized I would be paying slightly more this way but it was well worth it.
