Excellent sound quality and dynamic range. Easy to install.

Mark Breen "jolokia", Amazon

  • Summary: Oh, yeah. These babies rock. Got them installed quickly and easily in the suspended ceiling over our basement pool table. Great overall sound and dynamic range. When we crank them up too high they vibrate the sand crystals loose from the ceiling tile surfaces onto the pool table.

don't let the looks fool you

J. Kohlmeyer, Amazon

  • Summary: Spent way too many hours researching this but needed Atmos/Dolby IIz height speakers for my ceiling and settled on these. First glance very disappointed, plastic felt flimsy and cheap, the cone is paper and the aimable tweeter is very tight, not to mention it uses spring clips not banana plugs to...

Worth it.

tommy, Amazon
10 January 2015
  • Summary: Initially, I went the cheap route and bought the Pyle brand ceiling speakers for less than half the price of these, but I soon regretted that. The crossovers in the Pyle speakers soon burned out, leaving me with non-functioning tweeters.

Perfect for zone 2 music with no subwoofer

Glen Browne, Amazon
18 August 2014
  • Summary: I was planning a new house and there was no way I was going to put anything in other than in-walls and in-ceiling speakers in. As much as I love good sound I dont think it needs to be overly loud, and having been a very happy satellite speaker user for 4 years (Boston Acoustics Soundware), I didnt...

I'm happy

robertksee, Ebay

  • Summary: Good quality - easy installation - works perfectly. This is one part of a 5.1 Polk audio home theater project and the end product resulted in great sound for a room 32' x 22'. I wish I had doubled the sound insulation, now. Love it!

  • Pros: Clean sound, price, blends in nice to ceiling

Good music speaker

Anonymous, Crutchfield
13 March 2014
  • Summary: Good quality and a reasonable price. The speakers have strong bass and clear treble but lack a little in the midrange. Because of this sound, these speakers will make good music or even surround speakers but may not be the best for dialogue or low level listening.
  • Pros: Strong bass and clear treble.
  • Cons: A little weak in the midrange.

  • Summary: Great sound for the price. Installation couldn't have been easier. I ordered 2 pairs for both front and rear speakers and ordered the Polk Audio MC80 (single speaker) for the center channel. Clear, crisp sound with plenty of bass.
