Summary: I've been using these for a number of years bi-amped in a 3.1 setup with a CS2 and PSW110. They've worked amazingly well. You definitely need a sub in that scenario to get fuller and boomier bass. For music they stand on their own well. I've seen some reviews complaining about harshness.
Has GREAT mid tones, and the tweeter gives it good high tones

Summary: Great sounding speakers. They look awesome and have great build quality. I have 4 in my living room / entertainment room and they sound amazing. The bass isn't crazy, which is good - thats what the sub is for.
Summary: I bought a pair last year. I am using it in home theater which I built. Polk makes good quality stuff and this is no exception. The sound is crisp and clear with good base even without a subwoofer. I highly recommend it.
Summary: I have these as part of my surround set up with a CS2 center, Monitor 40s for side surround, Monitor 30s for rear surround and PSW10sub. They all sound awesome, and I'm using a Pioneer VSX-1121-K 7.1 receiver.
Summary: Polk Speakers are the best available at this price and Polk is an excellent company to do business with. But I found out the hard way that when you buy from an unauthorized Polk vendor on Amazon. Neither Polk nor Amazon nor the vendor will honor the 5yr Warranty on a NEW product.
Summary: I purchased a pair these speakers on June 9th 2011 to go into my dedicated home theater paired up with a Polk CS10 center and 4 Polk OWM3 for surrounds on a Denon 3311CI and they are still going strong and sound amazing on movies. Great highs and mids and I couldnt be more happier with them.
Summary: I love these speakers. I have owned every speaker in the monitor series, and would highly recommend the 60s to anyone. They lack the bass that the 70s had. When I say lack I mean you wont get them in the room and have bass that vibrates your chest like you would with a subwoofer.
Summary: I have these Polk Audio Monitor Series II Floor Speakers and they are excellent for my home Theater. Once you break these in you will be impressed by the sound they put out. I had Bose speakers but switched over to Polk Audio and I think the sound is much fuller and richer at all levels.
