Summary: I'm impressed. My dad got me started on music appreciation around the age of 9. Ive been through CBS Audio,Cerwin Vega,Klipsch and of course Pioneer speakers, not to mention different electronic configurations. Playing in a band made me appreciate music even more.
Summary: These are amazing floor standing speakers at this price point. high are not harsh or bright, mids are not exactly accurate but are not disappointing and low bass is exceptional. Ive used multiple amps and receivers on these bad boys and they work best with extra power.
Pros: I'm routinely blown away with the clarity and power of these towers. I slowly have pieced together a full Polk setup with these newegg insane deals, and let's just say you won't go wrong adding these as your fronts.
Cons: The odd cat hair on the front grill? But that's my fault.
Great speaker, great price. Turn up the music or turn down the sound

Summary: Would like to rate them a 6, clear and concise, matched with a pair of Polk Audio T15 bookshelf speakers or by themselves they sound great on everything from Dave Beck's Camptown Races, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and last night's hockey game to anything else I put through them.
Summary: These speakers have a very clear sound in mid & bass but the bass has no punch what so ever a pair of boom box speakers would project better the tweeters are more harsh than crisp & lose all clarity even at low low volume when listening to alot of music THEY SHOULD TELL YOU that these speakers are...
Summary: Neweggg seems to have the best prices on these Polk speakers.
Pros: Excellent sound. Much better than old Bose 301 speakers they replaced. $100 is a great price for these. Later bought CS2 for center and might regret not going up to Monitor70s which might have been a better match for CS2. However the Monitor70s while likely a little better are close to twice the ...
Summary: Great speakers for the price. A low end 5.1 AV tuner requires a subwoofer for bass when listening to music. A vintage Pioneer SA-1050 drives these things great- superb tight, thumping bass with acceptable mids and crisp treble. I wired a Niles DPS-1 and switch between the two for music and movies.
Pros: Tight and crisp.
Cons: Sound way better when driven hard. Not a con, needed to type something in here.
