Summary: I purchased these speakers for my kitchen and couldn't be happier. I currently have 4 sets of similar Yamaha speakers which are nice, but the crisp highs and smooth mids that come across from the Polk speakers are one of a kind for their price range.
Pros: Great sound and nice solid material on the cone, magnet and wiring.
Cons: The grills seem flimsy and attach kind of cheap. These grills get pushed in and are hard to remove compared to other speakers in their class (Yamaha) that attach with magnets for easier attachment and removal.
Summary: Bought two speakers to replace the ones I had in my Florida lanai, installation of both including removing the old speakers took less than 1/2 hour, installation was a breeze. Bought this brand because of the reputation of Polk and Crutchfield and also liked the that it was moisture resistant.
