Summary: Simply put, this is an amazing pair of floor speakers. LSi15 does an amazing job in delivering music with subtle details, crisp clarity and 3D sound image. I had a pair of Polk floor speakers I bought many years ago and thought about upgrading to something audiophile quality speakers. So I researched and bought this LSi15 after reading lots of positive reviews. Man, this is a right decision. This baby rocks.
Summary: These speakers sound amazing, and now that they released the LSIm series are ridiculously priced for the sound quality. You can get a set of speakers for a grand that sound like speakers Hi-Fi experts pay 10 grand for! They make acoustic guitar sound like the player is in the room, and vocalists sound like an intimate live performance.
Summary: This was a laughable low price for an outstanding speaker. If you are looking for a full range speaker you can use to listen to music or watch movies these are fantastic. You will not need a subwoofer to enjoy these, however I recommend a good high current amp such as an old HK or Denon. The highs are crisp, the drums hit, and everything else is crystal clear.
Summary: I just purchased the LSi15, LSiFX, LSiC, DSW 66wi sub home theater set up at www.acousticsounddesign.com. I previously had the Infinity Alpha series, which was a good mid-range set. The LSi series sounds incredible and they are beautiful, as well. There is plenty of power to spare. I did, however, have to upgrade my Denon receiver to another Denon receiver that was capable of driving these 4 ohm monsters. I don't regret any of it.
Summary: Your listening exactly to what was recorded, on some of my classical music recordings I noticed that I can hear the performers breathing, and they are attractive to boot. They are the best speakers I've ever owned but, I will say the RTi line comes pretty darn close to them, so if you're on a budget I would go for the RTi's.
Summary: the lsi15's are clean and clear. very good with my rotel ra 1070(100 wpc) cambridge audio azur 840a v2 with a 200 wpc at 4 ohm can be very good with the polk lsi 15, vrey good polkaudio speakers are: rti6. rti a7. lsi9. the polk lsi15 are on top of all.
Wow... I guess I didn't know good sounding speakers

Summary: Count me in to the group that believe the differences between high and low end speakers to be minimal. Boy am I wrong. I moved up from a set of Energy C-5 speakers that I thought were good but was very harsh sounding when I turn up the volume. Those were supposed to be efficient 8 ohm speakers. I was also told that these speakers are inefficient power hungry speakers that may not sound very good without an external amplifier.
Summary: Speakers were excellent quality. I purchased them on the weight of reviews and second hand opinions. They were as good as I anticipated. The radial ring tweeters gave an accurate crisp reproduction of high frequencies. I don't think you can do any better for the money. Polk audio has been in business since 1973 and their research and experience has paid dividends in this product.
Summary: I had heard good things about this system from several online reviews. I was fortunate to get this at a fire sale price on eBay as refurbished as a system for my office. Overall, it have to say it's a quite impressive speaker except for some boomy midbass - standard issue in most mass market brands, but surprising given the speaker's target audience, which is more high-end audiophile users.
