Summary: I have paired this sub with my Onkyo HT-S 5600 7.1 Channel HTiB) to replace original Onkyo Sub(which was died few weeks ago). When I ran audyssey calibration, it had set 0db gain in AVR. Resultant bass is bhoomy and flat with no details and thump.
Summary: I have purchased Polk reference and monitor speakers in the past and have been VERY impressed with their sound quality(especially for the reasonable price). However, in my opinion their subwoofers are junk.
Summary: The Polk DSW PRO 660wi Powered Subwoofer is an outstanding compliment to my home theater. The sub blends seamlessly with my Polk 265-LS, 255C-LS and 900-LS vanishing in-wall speakers using a 7.2 setup. The first movie I watched I was very impressed and the result was nothing less than incredible.
Summary: Great Sub! Fills the room with sound and easily setup and configured. Love the nightime setting as I have little ones that I don't want to wake up. The remote is a bit sad, but it does everything I need it to so no complaints.
Summary: I bought my sub from best buy, to take advantage of bb reward points. The sub held up well through shipping. Hooking up the sub, i found out my battery in the remote was dead, so I had to go buy a new battery for 6 bucks.
Summary: I purchased my first unit in Dec 2012 and by April 2013 it suddenly stopped producing sound (All lights on, reacts to remote, no sound). Driftwood Surplus instantly sent me a replacement unit and it has failed again 9 months later. Unit sounds / works great but I simply can't keep one working.
Summary: quality built piece of audio equipment, remote control works well, being used in an old home, so I assumed the floor and walls would amplify the bass, but not as impressed as was expecting it to be, glad I didn't purchase the 10'' model.
Summary: This sub is not a bad choice at it's price point. However my Dayton 1200 for only $140 with shipping included sounds almost as good as this at a fraction of the price. This sub still has too much port noise in my opinion.
