Summary: Love the clarity of this center channel and looks great with my decor! I am powering these with my onkyo trx-626 and it is a perfect setup. I would say the presentation is warm without a serious drop in clarity however I mainly use this for home theater and do not know what it would sound to the serious audiophile.
Summary: I really wanted the A6 center channel but had to go with the A4 because of space limitations. I replaced a Polk Audio CS400i that was 12 years old. WOW, what a difference! Highs are much more crisp and clear. Glad I pulled the trigger on this one, because I didn't think it would be enough. Powered by an Onkyo TX-NR717, and using a pair of RTi A-3's for my front channel speakers. Just need to upgrade the rears now.
Summary: I am very happy with this center speaker, along with my other Polk speakers and subwoofer. Without going into specifics about my home theater equipment, as far as this speaker is concerned, it gives you clean and ample sound to dialogue and sounds that come from the screen. This speaker is well worth its cost and much more. I'm happy with it, for sure.
IMO there is nobody out there better than Polk. :-)

Summary: Bought this to compliment my Polk RTI A1 Bookshelf speakers. I am convinced there is nobody better than Polk out there. I use this set up with a Denon A2000 receiver. It's like having a Band in your house. So clear so defined. And just an FYI it has nothing to do with volume we typically have it on at low to medium levels and it just gets better the more you crank them.
Summary: Got this for my husband for Christmas. We are hearing sounds from our Blu Ray movies we never heard before. It has fantastic highs and great lows. We love it and will definitely be looking at Polk in the future.
Summary: The sound on this speaker is fine. The problem is as others said maintaining connectivity. It appears to go into sleep mode after about an hour of inactivity. The only way to "restart" it is to unplug the transmitter for 30 seconds or so and then press the connect button on the speaker itself. I would not purchase this particular item.
