Summary: Just replaced an older and smaller center channel with the CS10 Center Channel and it sounds great. Can't get over the $100.00 value on this center for my application (secondary surround system in master bedroom). My older center channel lacked bass and was set up as a small speaker. When I config CS10, i used large setting, (small is reccomended by polk).
Summary: Purchased with Sony A/V 5.1 receiver to augment Sony Bravia TV. Rather than purchase a center-bar speaker that has the same puny sound as the TV itself this set-up gives full, rich sound to my video set-up.
Summary: Paid $79.99. Price was a factor but so were reviews. Very good sound. Enclosure kind of big but gives you good sound. Sounds great with blue-ray DVD. Would buy more POLK brand. Good value. No Cons.
Summary: I purchased this center speaker for my "value-priced" home theater system. It perfectly complements the Polk Audio in-wall front speakers ( Polk Audio RC65i 2-Way In-Wall Speakers (Pair, White) ), and in-ceiling surrounds ( Polk Audio RC80i 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers (Pair, White) ). While I'm at it, they're all connected to an Onkyo TX-SR608 7.2-Channel Home Theater Receiver (Black) along with a BIC V1020 10" Down-Firing Powered Subwoofer .
Summary: Just hooked this up a couple of hours ago and this thing sounds amazing right out of the box.The cherry finish is beautiful and it looks great on top of my tv.I know they say speakers have to be broken in so I guesss I'm in for a real treat as it already sounds great.
Summary: This two-way center channel provides enough sound quality even though it lacks a dedicated mid range driver. Polk delivers exceptional sound with this center channel that will rival $300 and up center channels from other vendors. The Polk Audio TSi CS10 recommends 20 to 150 watts of amplifier power for the best audio quality.
Summary: I purchased this Polk Audio CS10 to match it up with a pair of Polk Audio TSi200 front speakers for a home theater/ 7.1 surround sound setup. You notice the excellent sound quality right off the bat. Even regular TV sounds better. There are two points of concern, however, that one should keep in mind before purchasing this setup. First, these are not small speakers. They do stick out and if "unobtrusive" is your game this is not the setup for you.
Summary: I've been very happy with this speaker. It matches up with my RTI in wall speakers great sound-wise. I even watched some different sources with the center channel only and was really impressed with the clarity of the speech coming through.
Summary: This speaker is amazing. I tested it on some great FLAC vocal music (Tool and dredg) and I have never heard such clarity, even at loud volumes. This was recommended by an audiophile friend, and I can hear why. It is pretty hefty, but exceedingly worth the weight and size. Polk makes an amazing system and I would definitely recommend this to any audiophile.
