Summary: Maybe an option for folks with a vertical height problem. I have a 73 inch rear projection tv, but the stand combined with the height of the tv precluded the larger cs 20 center speaker, just not enough space vertically. I wanted the tv to be at eye level at center point of screen. I purchased one and placed in service, it was, well, "OK".
Summary: WOW What can I say? I'm happy with this center channel speaker, you can't go wrong, if you are here is be cause you know you are looking for good quality center speaker at best price, just get it. you won't be sorry, I tried this speaker next to a brand name center channel Definitive Technology Speakers CS8060HD and boy this polkaudio kicked its @$$ plaint simple.
Summary: This center speaker was the best choice to companion and complete my Tsi200 Fronts (and pioneer surrounds) for full 5.1 presentation. I'd highly recommend that if you have the money, get the CS20. It's not much more and I'd say the CS10's are just a tad weak for my taste. In other words, if you want to be blown away by your center during movies, then do yourself a favor and get the CS20.
Summary: The construction and detailing on this speaker, the Polk Audio CS10, was much better than I expected. This is nice. Heavyweight and high quality wire terminals, great sound, and a gorgeous cabinet. It's also magnetically shielded, which is important for Luddites like myself who still have a CRT-style TV -- the shielding works very well.
Summary: I started building my home theater setup about a year ago. While I had been a patron of car audio for years, i'd never really crossed over into the home theater realm. I had been familiar with polk speakers as I had owned a few different ones in my cars(including a pair of 12 inch momos back in the day, great subs).
