Summary: Well I went from a sony satellite 5.1 speaker set up to this as my primary center channel. What a difference. The clarity is better than I have ever heard. Its alot like being at the theater except I can turn it down if I feel it is to loud.
Summary: My whole search for equipment started with finding my pair of Polk LS70's. If you have Polk fronts, don't waste your time looking at other brands....Polk's sound "matches" it's centers. (Now I have a couple "other" highly rated centers to return to friends and a couple to sell.
Pros: This center is perfect for matching my pair of older LS70's sound field, and the transition is seamless. Everything is clear and precise.
Cons: I've seen people comment here on it's size.....yup, it is big....but I compared others and realized that no matter how well engineered.....size does matter...with all the line-ups. Don't place a con here when you know this going in.
Pros: Replaced Bose Center channel speaker with this model in Cherry and love it ,the sound is much stronger out of this speaker I was constantlly changing the volume in movies and shows when the scene was all dialoge I had to turn uop the volume to hear whar was said and back down during action scenes...
Summary: I bought this speaker as part of my HT and I couldn't be happier. It's solid quality! Crystal clear sound. If you are looking for a center channel, you can't go wrong with the CS10. As far as anything negative about it, I have none. I love it!
Summary: The center that came with my Sony 6600 HT in a box set has annoyed me for 6+ years. I was about to buy another set of smaller speakers in a set, that is, until I saw this one. This isn't the biggest and baddest you can buy, but that wasn't what I was looking for.
Summary: I'm very happy with the Polk center speaker with a few reservations. First, the good. I'm using the speaker as part of a surround sound system, with two Polk bookshelf speakers for front right/left, and a pair of generic speakers for the back surround (no subwoofer).
Target your money on the center channel. Best bang for the buck.

Summary: I wanted a good sound system without spending a fortune, so here's what I did -- I bought a cheap Philips Home Theatre sound system with a decent power rating and replaced the center speaker with the CS1. The result is spectacular!
Summary: What a great item!! Still not broken in yet and I can already see/hear where this is going!! Paired with my (2) TSi 300's, they make a great team. The sound is so natural. Being a musician, I pay attention to the sound of the acoustic guitars more than anything else.
