Polk Sat 30

  • Summary: Sounds great but a lot of work to install
  • Pros: Great sound when combined with the outdoor sub! You really can't come close to this sound quality with the traditional 2 outdoor speakers mounted on the side of the house.
  • Cons: A lot of work to install. You need to dig a trench and make sure to get cable rated for direct burial. Also the product includes regular indoor wire nuts, not outdoor waterproof wire nuts. So you either need to purchase the outdoor kind or seal them with silicone.

  • Summary: Great speaker when used with a sub-woofer.. I was worried that the sound would not be good due to them only going down to 115hz, but combined with a sub. they are great! I used 3 of them out in the yard for front L/R and a center channel leaving a indoor sub.
  • Pros: Great sound, small size, good looks and paintable.
  • Cons: Two little cons is they must be used with a sub-woofer for great range of audio, and did not like the wire connectors.

  • Summary: awesome!! these speakers have great sound. we purchased a yamaha reciever 105 watt per channel. we also bought the autdoor voyager subwoofer, but even without the sub the sound is amazing. We made an outdoor kitchen under roof 20x20 area the sound is as good as our indoor theater, maybe better!
