Summary: I searched for the best speakers for a while… And I finally decided on orbs because they sounded as good if not better than the Bose speakers, and they were local. I can't tell you how happy I am with these speakers and to think I almost went for a sound bar for the convenience of it all.
Summary: Wonderful speakers. I have had 4 of them for two years. They are unique on the market because they the only modular speakers. You can connect up to 4 together per channel for increased power handling. I use two per channel with a mono subwoofer and they can get LOUD.
Summary: I bought these speakers from Amazon to replace my rather large Linn speakers with mega cable. While the two speakers are worlds apart in audio world, I can't say enough about the Orb speakers - great sound for the $. I really like the small size as they fit nicely into the media cabinet.
Summary: I purchased these direct from Orb Audio over a year ago and these little guys are great! Lows, mids, and highs are incredibly distinct and separated. The sound field is broad and easily fills my apartment with quality sound. You will want to use a subwoofer with these speakers, however.
Summary: I've had a Mod 2, 5.1 set up for three years (that's 10 Orbs, plus their subwoofer). The system is excellent. Terrific separation (running through a Denon 4311) and balanced tone. Build quality is superb. I also have the HOS stands.
Summary: My Orb Audio Mod 1's solved my small room TV speaker problem. Clear, crisp sound; minimal space; quality construction, and unintrusive in my dining room decor. I hear every word of dialogue. Great for music, too. I don't need a sub woofer for casual listening.
Summary: Who knew such small speakers could sound so good? These are a great addition to my surround setup. Very much appreciate the quality build and the black gloss finish. Excellent value for the money.
