Summary: These speakers are a disappointment. Very small sound stage, tinny, significant distortion at moderate levels. As a comparison, I was auditioning them to replace a pair of Polk LSi15 speakers to see if I could have my cake and eat it too with a speaker that would be small enough to "disappear" in the background. Alas, the laws of physics still apply, the Polks were vastly superior (and yes, I used a 10" Aperion subwoofer with the orbs).

Summary: Decent. Disappointed the wall mounts are $25 bucks extra for the pair, when all the shipped "mounts" need are two holes drilled and proper screws to mount and you'd have a complete solution, out of box.

Summary: These Orb speakers do not disappoint. My Orbs are used for the front channel on my Denon Receiver. These little guys produce some serious sound. You will definitely need a sub for the lows but that is expected with satellite speakers.
Very Good sound but definitively needs a good subwoofer.

Summary: I have to admit this pair of speakers sound better than many of the more expensive brands out there. I bought the ORB amplifier too. Great sound for my kitchen. The 15 watt amplifier can hide anywhere in the house. No need for a bulky receivers. I paired it with a bluetooth receiver and i can stream music from my ipad, iphone or macbook. For less than 300 usd. Better sound than any commercial speakers out there.
