Great sound - fills large room - lots of bass

Richard M Feather, Amazon
  • Summary: This unit has great sound and was very easy to set up. Used with a 55 inch Panasonic TV it is one of the few that are wide enough for the TV base. Exceptionally strong bass response you will need to turn down the sub-woofer setting so it does not overwhelm the voice. This unit came with both digital optical cable and analog 1/8" stereo pin cable. Unit responded to TV remote sound settings with no additional programming.

Televisoin Soundbar

Norm, Crutchfield
23 February 2014
  • Summary: The Onkyo LS-T10 was recommended to us by Crutchfield staff. The soundbar we were considering would not support the weight of our TV. We have an Onkyo receiver as a part of our home entertainment center in our living room. so we were familiar with the Onkyo brand and very happy with it's performance. The Onkyo sound bar is everything we hoped it would be. Great detailed sound . Thanks Crutchfield for the suggestion.
  • Pros: Great buy and Onkyo makes quality equipment.
  • Cons: None as yet.

Great sound base

Liam, Crutchfield
9 January 2014
  • Summary: the active subwoofer is powerful, especially when you watch Blue ray movies, make you feel you are in a real movie theater, meanwhile we have to cost more money on rating movies. now we more enjoy watching music TV shows, such as the VOICE, X-factor. LOVE THE SOUND BASE!

Very good TV speaker

Anonymous, Crutchfield
14 December 2013
  • Summary: Very good sound quality, far better than the Samsung TV that it is connected to. Very simple to connect and operate, everything just works. There is however one weird problem with it: my TV will not output 5.1 sound via optical connection if the source is external, a blueray player in my case. The TV down-converts the sound to 2.1, probably due to HDCP standard requirements.
  • Pros: - sound quality - Bluetooth connectivity
  • Cons: - no grill on the downfiring subwoofer - the auto power off seems a bit quick, no way to adjust the delay - cannot adjust priority of the optical connection vs coaxial connection

Onkyo Rocks!

Ron, Crutchfield
14 December 2013
  • Summary: It has a wider length and taller than the Bose Solo and supports more weight. That info is for the eye. The ear tell the story and is plug and play compatible. This is not my first experience with Onyko and not the last - Need I say more?.
  • Pros: As advertised
