Good for what it is. Maybe not as great as advertised.

Dana Fuller, Amazon

  • Summary: Set up was simple. Not impressed with the fact the function and setting lights are on the top of the unit. It would make more sense to have it displayed on front or even transmitted to the TV. Overall a decent sound. Better than the TV speakers for certain and perfect for our 12x13 room. Also a cool unit for pairing with my iPod. If all you need is a little extra volume and sound control and space is limited then this is a good product and I would recommend it.

Good but not Great

K. Cook "cowboy pride", Amazon

  • Summary: The unit is larger than I was expecting, and the sound is certainly better than our TV speakers, but the sound did not blow me away. I would only recommend if you can get a good deal on the unit (i.e. around $160).

Decent sound bar option

MB, Amazon
8 October 2014
  • Summary: Decent sound with must have options of bluetooth and preset options providing easy control. The size is a bit bulky so need to plan for the height impact with the TV stand.

Great sound, but has had some problems.

Bob Sellers, Amazon
8 October 2014
  • Summary: Setup was just as easy as advertised. You just plug up the unit, connect it to your TV with the supplied optical cable and voila! It worked perfectly with my LG TV... The television remote and the DirecTV remote both worked the volume with no settings adjustments required. The sound is really good and is no comparison to the TV speakers. However, after a few days I noticed that sometimes there is no sound from the sub after the system is first turned on.

Nice sound for a moderate audiophile living-room unit

hopefulskeptic, Amazon
5 October 2014
  • Summary: Nice sound for a moderate audiophile living-room unit. Small space. Main problem REALLY POOR INSTALLATION AND SETTING UP DOCUMENTATION. The documentation consisted of a maze of mostly nearly impossible documentation to read or get into an orderly process. I still haven't gotten all of the setup right - I want to get it setup to works with the TV universal remote controller provided by my TV service provider and neither I or my hired installer has yet managed to getting...

  • Summary: It enhances sound a little bit, the Bluetooth option is a nice feature, however, its size is too bulky, it is not worth the investment.

Has Significant Limitations

Michigan Engineer, Amazon
28 November 2013
  • Summary: I'm sorry I don't agree with the 4 and 5 star ratings for this unit. For the $399 current price, I regret the purchase. While it does provide fairly good sound, it's not great, and certainly doesn't come close to a "real" set of decent speakers. In fact, it's only slightly better than the speakers that are in my 56" Sony Bravia TV.

Good Sound But Not User Friendly

David Walker, Amazon
  • Summary: The sound is good, no problem with that but at the price you'd expect good sound. It has it's faults, first it doesn't always come on when the TV is turned on. It turns itself off if you pause for more than a couple of minutes and then you have to manually switch it back on. Every now and then it won't come on and you have to disconnect it all and wait 5 minutes and then re-connect the very fiddly and awkward lead (that's the instruction in the user guide).
