Summary: With a project essential turntable, an Onkyo amp and an (old) Sony CD player these speakers are fantastic. I had to plug the bass 'holes' and then turn off the direct button and turn down the bass and treble. It was just too much for my living room! But now, it's perfect.
Summary: These are my first monitor speakers. I was tempted by the price. They are clear and look great with the grilles on and off. The spikes come included (be careful not to scratch the floor and with little kids... They're sharp). I went for the walnut look and I love it.
Summary: I got these to replace my front speakers in a large room for a cinema setup and they are perfect. I got them as open boxers so at a reduced price and they fit perfectly into the space designed for them.
Pros: size , sound , price , included bungs for placement

Pros: detailed controlled full range sound , nice clean looks
Summary: Firstly I must say that at the age of 79 I am hardly qualified to give a "proper" review as my hearing loss above 2.2 K is significant ! never-the-less these speakers have "given me back" my enjoyment of classical music. My previous Castle Harlechs' had packed up and were no longer viable.
Summary: Using these with a Marantz mcr603. I understand speakers need time to run in. They will often start to sound smoother and less harsh and the bass will improve however I was amazed at how good these sounded straight out the box.
