Summary: For the past 6 months I've been looking to replace my Boston Acoustics CS225CB center channel speaker. I bought it because so many people on so many "audiophile" sites warned about mismatching of the front and center channel speakers.
Summary: Listened to these with a Marantz PM6005 & CD6005 in the Bristol store. They sound much clearer and more open than the (WHF recommended!) Wharfdale 220s. They have a better balance between treble and bass than Dali Zensor 3s which sounded a little shrill on the highest notes.
Pros: clear open sound , controlled unstrained treble , 6.5 inch woofer gives full bass & mid
Summary: Good speakers abit to big to put on a desk but sound great only bad thing is I need to buy stands for them even they iv had them years and theyve done well on top for some old magazines but that's me being cheap! Time to buy a pair of stands from RS
Sounded fine on the floor, but did not survive 6 foot drop whilst fitting to speaker stand

Summary: I am fitting these in a conservatory with lots of other paraphenalia on the walls. Conservatory has 5 hard surfaces, so a very difficult environment. Despite that sounded ok. However whilst trying to decide how to site the left speaker around the patio door, lamp on wall, my head (5" 10" off ground)...
