Summary: I purchased a pair of Mission's to update my desktop audio system. They are mated with a Qinpu tubed amp using analog from my Dell PC. They are replacing a pair of Energy CB-5s. The Missions have much better imaging with a very large sound stage and excellent mid range. My music is now spread across the entire desktop and beyond.
Summary: These bookshelf speaker really surprised me. They are comparable to my Energy CB-5, same small footprints, but have more silky high, fuller mid-range and nice bass after 20 hours break in. I am using they as my desktop speakers with an old Harman integrated amp, they sounds amazing.
Summary: These speakers are incredibly small and the pictures make you think that they are bigger than they actually are. The speakers are as tall as an average receiver is and a slim DVD player stacked together. I needed something for my office. I bought a pair of Klipsch VB-15 and was disappointed with the sound quality, so I looks around and paid about $60 for this. When I opened the box I thought they were not going sound good as they are really small.
Summary: The MV-2s create excellent imagery for their size for my seven speaker music system in my office. I have the 2 pair of MV-2s in the back and sides, pair of MV-8s and the MV-C in the front driven by a Yamaha RX-V1900. Very nice pair of speaks for the price and the sound stage is very comfortible as I find myself hungrily listening.
