Summary: I was a fan of Mirage's Omnipolar architecture before purchasing these, having already used their Nanosat 5.1 home theater set and been very happy with it. The OMD-5s offer a richer, fuller sound than the nanosats, and rival far larger speakers (with much higher price tags).
Summary: I really like these speakers, I use them as Desktop speakers in a Multi Source Home office system powered with a Vintage Mosfet amp. Dont be fooled by their size as they are capable of producing a rather large soundstage and their design makes them rather special in Nearfield desktop configurations.
Summary: The finish on these speakers is unbelievably good. They look like fine furniture. They are very small, and fit very nicely on a Rosewood Stereo-Television cabinet we have. The sound is very good as long as you are realistic about your expectations given that this is a small satellite speaker.
Summary: I ordered these a few days ago and I've been very pleased so far. 9 pounds or so of weight, fairly easy to mount on the wall with the included hanging screw and screw-in attachment. I recommend this if the OMD15 floor-standing speaker is too large.
Summary: There isn't anything i don't like about these speakers. Whether using them for stereo w/ a sub or surround sound. They look beautiful and mount easily on the wall, table top or on a shelf. I own several of them through out the house and enjoy them in either stereo and surround sound.
