Excerpt: These speakers are beautiful. They are well designed, and really fit in well. I have not finished the 100 hour break in time yet, so I am guessing they will sound even better after they are ready. The sound is full and I can appreciate the reflection of the music. The Mirage OMD-15 speakers were replacements for my 20 plus year old dbx speakers. The mirage speakers are the same height, but only one third the over all size.
Summary: Just bought 2, 1 month ago and am adding 2 more.great out of the box.can only get better.matched with omd c1 center.omdr rear.velodyne sub.Yamaha rxv 1800.great soundstage.omdr adds depth compared to omd 5's.great value for the money spent compared to others.superb construction and finish.
Excerpt: The OMD-15s are a bit expensive for the average consumer, but it makes sense to invest in high quality speakers as they are the weakest link in any modern sound system. Compared to my Cambridge Ensemble II surround speaker system, the OMD-15s are a significant performance upgrade. Build quality is excellent and the beautiful Rosewood & Black finish is of the highest furniture quality.
Excerpt: I recieved the OMD 15 speakers 3 days after I placed the order to Vanns through Amazon. They arrived in excellent condition. Appearance wise, the gloss finish and rosewood really stand out. I hooked them up using 14 guage speaker wire to a Denon AVR 1707 reciever. I did the recommended 100 hour break in period using a moderate volume level. I did this in surround mode with the Mariage OMD-C1 center speaker also hooked up.
Excerpt: Got the OMD 15 pair, C1 and OMD 5 pair for my basement home theater. Initially I was a bit concerned about these speakers being 6 ohms. However, my Pioneer 1019 receiver is driving them well. The clarity of the sound from these speakers is amazing. Have been listening to music, playing movies and the 15, C1 and 5s do a great job at both. Awaiting the Rel T3 subwoofer to arrive and thatll finish up my setup.
Best Speakers for the low price. Value and quality

Excerpt: I have a medium end system, denon 4803ci, infinity Kappa 600 speakers, ect. Adding these is not a huge upgrade, but they hang well with world class Kappa 600 speakers and the Denon is powerfull enough to drive these with 170 rms per channel as these are 6 ohm speakers. Finish and build is outstanding and rivals any high end speakers out there. Although, I would say the finish and grills are much more durable than most.
Excerpt: As a lifelong Audiophile,I have had the pleasure of owning and listening to many fine loudspeakers. The OMD 15 are competitive both in appearance and performance with any speaker that I have heard in the $2000-$4000 price range.Their solid base foundation, lifelike soundstage and imaging, accurate mids and clear highs all make listening a pleasure. They rival the Kef Uni-Q speakers in the ability to portray an accurate soundstage from listening positions that are outside the...
Excerpt: I looked at two sets of speakers to replace my $300 JBL surround sound box set. The Mirage and Kiplich. After reading every bit of info online about both sets I decided upon the Mirage and couldnt be happier. The speaker placement isnt as critical as the Kiplich. With their omni directional design the whole room was like a sweet spot. Not to mention that they look great as well.
Excerpt: I used to have JBL speakers, that I really like but, they were too big and not very pretty speakers. My partner saw the promotion from the MIRAGE OMD15 Speakers online and bought two of those. He already had 5 satellite surround speakers plus a sub woofer that I always liked, their beautiful style, and great sound for their sizes. So I could not resist that offer and changed all my speakers for 2 OMD15 and 4 rear surround OMD15 design series.
