Amazing sound from such a small package but with limits

Summary: These loudspeakers are powered by a Denon 1911 and were put in a room that is approximately 16x14x8. So as you can see its a middle of the range system in a normal sized room. Now on to the loudspeakers! I have to say I am impressed with their performance. They produce clear bright highs and overall sound quite good. Personally though I found the MX speaker to sound thin being used as the center channel.
Summary: I opened the box last night and noticed a very strong buzzing noise coming from the subwoofer. This is without connecting any thing to the sub except the power cord. (The power cord has only 2 prongs, so it is not a ground issue.) The time now is 9:54 AM, I just called Mirage's support number, navigated to product support, and got this recorded message: "We are unable to take your call due to a departmental meeting, please call at a later time" followed by the line being...
Summary: I am extremely satisfied with the sound quality and size of these speakers. Beware, however, that these speakers appear to be designed to sit flat on furniture. I have wall mounted them, and they simply look odd given their flat bottom and tapered shape. I wish I'd purchased the Energy RC-Micro 5.1 (also owned by Klipsch) instead.
Summary: The sound was great, it's comparable if not much better than the 2,000 bucks speaker system. However, my subwoofer gone kaput after 2 days of use and that is after using it for 10 minutes. It turns out a bad circuit board. I returned it to BB and replaced it with Definitive ProCinema 600. If the subwoofer didn't break down, I will still have it and rate it 5 stars.
Summary: These speakers are AWESOME. Very loud and superb for surround sound and fills a large room with sound. The only negative is that the Subwoofer is pretty weak. It does not fill the room, and I have the volume all the way up and even turned volume up on my receiver. As I mentioned before, I did put this in a "large room", so I think that is the problem. In a smaller room this sub would be great.
