Summary: They worked good for a few weeks. After a short time the sub developed a pop and rumbling noise when the source wasn't sending anything. Even if the cable is unplugged it still has issues. Notified Martin Logan and they took care of it by sending me a new amp. But after a few months it is back to the same issue. After doing some research I found that I am not the only one with this problem. Now I have a large paperweight.
Summary: I have purchased several surround systems/speakers and this one really surprised me. I would not consider myself a true audiophile but have had systems that have cost as much as 20k (Arcam, Thershold, Martin Logan electrostats, etc) and went with the small ML speakers for a second room. These speakers really perform well and the sub is really quite spectacular for the price. very cohesive sound. Will definitely buy again (the sub iteself is worth the price!
Summary: I consider myself a good reference for audio its one of my passions. That being said these speakers are a no brainer. Only drawback is subwoofer they had issues with them and the sound is average. I had my polk psw10 from last system leftover which side by side no comparison so I sold the martin logan subwoofer and bought another psw10 and I am currently running dual subs. That being said dynamite!!!!!!!!
Summary: Great speakers coupled with a Denon AVR-E200 receiver. Good highs mids and the 8 inch sub produces great low end sound. I did 6 months of research before deciding on these. Compared Polk, Bose and others. For an extra 40 dollars I could have gone with the MLT2 but I am very satisfied with these speakers. Makes movie watching a true experience in the man cave now. Of course most movies we watch are Disney for the kids..
Summary: This speaker set is wonderful. I had mine for about 6 months now and I am pleased with my purchase. Shipping from Amazon Prime was spot on. One of the reasons why I get almost everything from Amazon. No damage to the box or product delivered sooner than expected, which is a convinience as I am overseas. The finish on the product looks pretty good, especially for the price point. No noticeable seams or cabinet connections.
Outstanding value for high quality speaker system!

Summary: Had narrowed down search for new speaker system to accompany a new Yamaha RX-V575 receiver to this system and a similarly priced Polk audio system. Went with the Martin Logans based on reputation, reviews and made in USA. Initial setup was easy and the sound is simply amazing. Love the fact these speakers are small and unobtrusive, but they sound massive. Crystal clear highs - smooth and rich midrange and bass that can shake the rafters (if need be).
Summary: I have owned Martin Logan speakers for 20 years and paid thousands of dollars for their outstanding sound. These are not in the rarified air of that audiophile market. However ... I was looking for a low priced home theater solution to my 13 year old son's new Vizio 3D 42" television that I have grown a liking to. Enter MLT-2. I happen to come across them at the newegg site for $249 w/shipping.
Summary: I had never heard of Martin Logan before, but after reading a couple reviews on Amazon I decided to give it a go. It was between these and some JBLs that were more expensive. I've had JBL bookshelf speakers before and loved them, but they were quite a bit more expensive than these ML's. I paired these with a Harman Kardon AVR 1700, also bought for a great price. After running 14 gauge wire and fudging the AVR's controls, the setup produced amazing sound.
