Summary: The krk rp5's are phenomenally high quality studio monitors for the price. I bought these around a year ago and still love them to bits. The audio clarity in them is superb, since i bought these my mixdown and sound design skills have improved greatly. These monitors are fantastic for any beginners and amateur producers that want to take the next step forward.
Pros: Professional Sound Quality at Affordable Price
Cons: After a long period of loud use, they tend to heat up quite a bit
Summary: I started a hobby making Dance tracks and was recommended these by a close friend. WOW! The music is so clear and crisps, for me making music specifically, it really high lighted which instruments should go where and how it sounds. Obviously I wish I had more time to do my hobby however sometimes I put on my music whilst going about my daily bits n bobs, its great there's no noise distraction or distortion when listening to these.
Pros: Great sounds, looks
Cons: Only get the yellow colour might not work for some
Summary: I have owned this model of monitor for close to 2 years and I have gotten to know it's many advantages and disadvantages. Each speaker is powered by a separate plug so obviously you'll need to have some sockets handy! The size is the expected size given the sound they emit (if you're used to speakers the size of a wallet then you are in for a treat!) Lastly, they are heavy. To me, heavy = durable so this is a good thing.
Summary: This pair of KRK monitors is an amazing set if I say so myself. They are truly flexible and for the price, can be a welcome addition to the home of either a casual listener, or an owner of a budget home studio. The monitors have a nice clear sound, and a flat response. The only slight issue here is a slightly misleading low-end, however this is negligible when it comes to getting your mix to sound right in production, and even more negligible if you are that casual...
Pros: Affordable, clear and accurate sound, pleasing to look at
Summary: the KRK RP-5 is one of the smaller monitor models from the KRK range. it is certainly beautiful to look at and the first thing you will notice when listening to these monitors is the amazingly clear, warm and fantastically accurate sound quality. Although the speakers appear small, do not let that put you off your decision of purchasing them. they are amazingly loud, accurate and suitable for most studio monitoring and mastering situations.
Summary: The KRK RP-5 series of monitors represent the latest in performance in what is a mid level price range. Perhaps one of the most easily recogniseable pieces of kit available due to their trademark yellow composite cone, the RP-5 provides the bedroom DJ with the quality and accuracy needed, and as a result will help to maintain it's position as the unit of choice for recording studios.
Pros: Easy to install, great sound, excellent bass, great looking
Summary: The KRK Rokit range of studio monitors are a perfect entry-level nearfield monitor for any home or project studio owner. In terms of value-for-money they aren't even beaten by the cheap Behringer offerings, yet they probably offer much better build quality and reliability! Before choosing mine I auditioned a range of monitors in a good listening environment, including some that cost over double of what the Rokits did, however I came away with the KRKs and haven't...
KRK Rokit Powered 5's brilliant home studio addition.

Summary: The KRK RP range is a wonderful range of good quality speakers/studio monitors at a competitive price. The monitors come as a single unit so obviously you would need to purchase a pair of these monitors, keep this in mind when looking at prices. The KRK's are powered monitors so the good thing with this is you don't need a power amp, they just plug into wall sockets and are powered this way.
Pros: Good bass clarification whilst keeping the high end.
Cons: Possibly need to buy some Mopads to avoid rattles etc.
Summary: Ive had these monitors for over a year and use them in my small home studio, where I record mostly rock music. These monitors are fantastic! Really good sound and at a reasonable price, they easily contend with other monitors that are slightly more expensive. These are active, so dont require and external amp.
Pros: Active, no external amp required
Cons: Small speaker so bass response poor for bass heavy music
