Summary: Hi, everybody. Speakers have cheep caps, filled w soup and iron core inductor. Absolutely need to upgrade to Poly or Silver. 2.4μF cap to 1.5, 12μf to 10μF Poly caps. Inductor was 20AWG , 0.82 mHz. Upgrade to about 0.68mH air core 18AWG or better.
Summary: I bought these for a cheap price thinking they would have Klipsch quality. They do not sound great. Highs are too high and bright and breakup with volume. Still they are better than the junk Polk audio monitor 70 IIs that I bought that they replaced.
Summary: I have had my pair of Icon VF-36 towers for nearly a year now, and I love them. They are my front speakers paired with Icon VB-15 Bookshelf surrounds, a Klipsch RC52 II center channel, and a Paradigm subwoofer. My receiver is a fairly basic Yamaha RX-V367 5.1 100W/ch.
Summary: Reviews must contain at least 20 words about the product: well... I do not do reviews often but as I did see review by Pete0730 then I also must write down that this speakers vf-36 are great ..
Summary: Though I didn't buy these klipsch speakers on amazon. But I just want to say that I had these for over 2 years. Paired with yamaha 3900, and they sounds great and accurate for movies, music, karaoke. I have listen Polk Monitor 70, and they dont have the bass like these vf36.
Summary: The best I can say is, WOW. Great speakers. If you have the room for these you will not be disappointed. I am not an audiophile and I don't have a test lab to chart the freq. response so I can't say how these compare to other speakers.
Summary: When I got these speakers I was a little affraid to admit their short comings, thats why I've waited a while to write a review. Although they sounded great compared to the cheap 13yo boxed HT system I had, they left me feeling a little let down.
Summary: Awesome speakers. I'm no audiophile but I know good sound when I hear it. I have the Klipsch Quintet SL Series surround package which sounds great. I also have the BicF12 subwoofer which I also highly recommend. I just wanted to step up the sound to the next level but didn't want to spend a fortune.
Summary: First off to all the reveiwers that state these Klipsch speakers produce adequate bass without a sub woofer I would love to know what you have done to get low bass because I have tried everything. With (3) 6.5 inch speakers in each cabinet I was truly disappointed that not only did I not get good...
