Summary: These speakers sound great and look great, my wife at first baulked at the idea of getting larger surround’s, but once she seen these on the floor stands she was impressed. These are pricey but the combination of great sound and great looks makes it worth the price.
Summary: Awesome speakers for a small to medium sized room. After doing the recearch I built a R ll series home theater... These 52's are Great for their size, delivering sound that is clean and crisp....
Summary: 1.) Packaging - Opening the box revealed great padding and sealing all the way around. Papers in plastic with feet/pads and good instruction manual if you needed it (wow the paper just feels better than most). 2.) Quality - I just love well made solid construction speakers. 15LBS of pure surround that has a dual split face/channel to immerse the world behind you as if it's coming from even further away! Magnetic grills which is awesome.
Summary: I bought those last year to be part of my 7.1 system at a 14ft x 18ft mediaroom. They work great, fill the room completely! I'm using them with a 9.2 Yamaha AV receiver (AV-2010) and it's awesome to watch moves and play games. I got the whole set of Klipsch (RF82, RC62, RS52 and RB41) and I'm in love with these speakers. They rock!!
Summary: The speakers are large but not without aesthetic appeal. Sound is crisp and clear, but you will have to make adjustments so that they do not overwhelm other speakers (mine are closer to the listening position than I would like, but I am limited by my living room's configuration). I would rate the higher if they had bi/dipole options.
Summary: Was a little skeptical about the RS52s as some of the reviews said they were too bright. They start off bright, but each day of playing breaks the horns in and they settle down. Now they are crisp, detailed and really shine in the high and mid range. I have them mated to Denon 1912, two RF62 fronts and a RC52 center and Hsu MkIII sub and they do just fine.
Summary: I read that your surrounds should match the power of your fronts. So I have Klipsch R-52's all around, a Klipsch 10-inch subwoofer, 6.1 setup, Sony STR-DN1010 receiver, in a 24' by 18' man cave. I like 6.1 sounds better to me than 7.1 because 3 surrounds balance out 3 fronts. These surrounds are bigger and heavier than a book case or satellite surround. They create a sound envelope that makes you feel like your in the movie. The sound is sharp and accurate.
Summary: The Klipsch RS-52 is one of the higher-end models from the venerable speaker company. Used in systems with suitable quality gear they deliver a better level of home theater enjoyment. Sounds like a slogan but it's true. I replaced a very good set of much larger speakers with a pair of these find them to be much better in this job. They are designed to disperse surround channel sound in a way standard speaker design just will not accomplish.
