I am quite satisfied with this Klipsch Reference II system

Summary: I have had Reference II speakers in the front for quite some time with "other" (Klipsch) speakers on the side and in the rear (7.1 setup). The system has worked well but I felt there was some stridency in the strings during use for (classical) music. My suspicion was that the surround speakers were responsible for this stridency, so I upgraded to the Reference II surround speaker in only one channel (so far) to see if there was an improvement in violin tone. There was.
It sounds better than the two old style tower speakers from Sony

Summary: I used this speaker to replace to free floor standing speakers and it works perfectly. It sounds better than the two old style tower speakers from Sony. This one Klipsch speaker completely eliminated the need for the large speakers that i didn't have room for.
Summary: I have these as my surround speakers in my home theater. Klipsch Reference line has to be paired with the right amp and optimized because of the Horns. Some like them some don't . Me personally I'm obsessed with them. If I could afford their pallidium line I would upgrade.
Great match for the Klipsch surround speaker system
28 February 2014
Summary: I recently upgraded my surround system to 7.1 using Klipsch speakers exclusively. These sound great as side surrounds combined with RB-5 and RC-5 front and center speakers and the RB-41 rear surrounds.
Pros: great sound and perfect match for other Klipsch speakers
