Summary: I bought a pair of these RF83 last year & these are the best speakers I have ever owned.I have owned at least 10 different kinds of speakers trying to find that perfect pair of theater & music speakers,& these will hold their own no matter what you want them for. They rock real loud & clean when you want real loud music,& they sound absolutely incredible for a nice classical concert.Close your eyes & you would swear you were at the live concert.Try a pair, they sound...
If you have the room, fill it with sound with these. You won't regret it.

Summary: They are more than exquisite speakers. They are musical instruments. Of course, Klipsch are efficient speakers. But when paired with a powerful amp like a Rotel RB-1080 or part of a home-theater driven by a RMB-1095, you'll experience movies like never before. Stereo listening requires no sub with these towers. They go low and deep and remain effortless, given you have an amplifier with enough power to drive them loud.
Summary: A reviewer in an audio magazine said to check out the speakers that most theaters use. I did and found Klipsch in all of them locally. I bought the RF-83 set to use with my ONKYO 907 receiver. These speakers rock from the subtley sublime to the house shaking rock music. I highly recommend getting them if you can and have the floor space. Be aware that they are very large.
Summary: These things are amazing. Haven't listened to music with them but movies/tv/video games are phenomenal. There are all kinds of subtle noises and general ambiance that was previously missing from my experience. Even at low volumes everything comes out crystal clear. At high volumes....hope your neighbors like you. They're being powered by an emotiva xpa-5. With rc-64 center and rs-62 surrounds in 5.1. Seems to be a perfect setup to me compared to previous polk RTI8 set.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy Setup, Good Power Output, Great Sound Quality
Summary: Absolutely impressed hands down! Fantastic speakers that should last a lifetime. I bought the RF 83's, RC 64 (center speaker), Klipsch THX (120) Subwoofers x 2 + the Klipsch amp 1000 associated with the subs, and the two Klipsch KS 525 THX surround speakers, and let me tell you! Home theatre is now so awesome I can hardly believe it! I'm now a lifetime fan of Klipsch! High quality, awesome sound, and they look great too!
Summary: These are incredible speakers! They float an image that is Magical. The soundstage has width, depth and height. Setup properly it is next to impossible to discern where the sound is coming from they simply disappear and all you have is the music. Outstanding hi's with liquid midrange and authoritative bottom end this speaker has it all, Can compete with speakers costing 3 times as much.
Summary: I have had these speakers for 8 months now and remain very impressed. I traded some Tannoys which were a bit colored and have not regretted the switch. The Tannoys were good but after 10 years I needed a change. These speakers are clear and have very low distortion. There is no harshness at all from good recordings. I have juggled amps and find my Onkyo gives the best result. I have another amp and get a somewhat thin presentation.
Summary: These speakers are replacing some I have had since 1979, I have had the RF-83s for about a month and I am very pleased with them. The soundstage is deep and the imaging is excellent. Plus you don't have to sit in a 'sweet spot' to get the good sound. There are details in the instrument's sound that I have not been able to pick out before. Initially I was listening to the speakers instead of the music and these speakers are very easy to listen to.
