Summary: These speakers are freaking amazing! the clarity of sounds is astounding. I listen to music much more often now that I have these speakers because they are that enjoyable and they look amazing too. I have this paired to the 115-SW and with the copper spun comes it looks and sounds great. and they are loud as s*&# too. could not ask for a better product in this price range.
Excerpt: Easy to drive high sensitivity speakers. I have 125wpc avr driving them, 70/100 on the volume is about all I can take. Take the grills off and they are stunning with the copper cones. Well built, solid, and heavy. Sound quality is as expected with Klipsch, very nice. I do wonder if a midrange would benefit these, but I love the Klipsch horn and I would find hard to come up short with these speakers.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound Quality
Summary: Good speaker for the price. I have no place where I live to make comparisons and purchased these based on reviews. I used them at an outdoor barbecue where the volume was tested at higher levels and they sounded great throughout the audio spectrum. Could have used a sub but the bass was good without one.
Summary: I listen to vinyl exclusively, my current setup Pioneer SX-1980(270 w/ch), Rotel 855 TT with Digitrac(Ortofon) NP cartridge. I needed a speaker that fit the constraints of my budget and the room they were going to be placed. I also wanted something that wouldn't buckle under the power of my SX-1980.
