Summary: I have been wanting to get these beasts for awhile now... and finally got myself a pair. Once i opened these up i was instantly blown away! the bass on these are really good and can handle deep hard bass. I have the 82s matched up with rc 52 centre, the klipsch sw110 sub and does this ever rock my house. It is important to get a quality receiver to run these things off of.
Summary: I've had these speakers for a few years, and they are truly excellent. I never write reviews but I know how hard it can be to select great speakers. In summary the sound is awsome from all sources from poor radio stations to blue rays, I haven't had any problems with them at all, the construction is rock soild, I have a denon amp (which I think puts out 90 - 100 watts rms per channel) and the speakers will shake almost everything in my two story 2300 sqft home.
Summary: ***Very impressed with the quality of sound, design, build, size.*** These Klipsch RF82 speakers are worth every penny even at full price. Got these on the two for one deal a steal for sure. Have listened to speakers in the $3 to $10 thousand dollar a pair range and believe me the Klipsch speakers are the very best value out there. Had a pair of Altec Lancing Voice of the theater speakers with the big A-7 metal horns back in 1975.
Summary: i had the rf82 nice speaker , just picked up the new series ii better mids and better bass done side by side test and the new series mids are better so is bass they changed cross over on new series what a good move now this speaker is not good its great.
Summary: I finally convinced my dad to pick these up about a month ago now. I haven't been to my parents house this much since I moved out. I hooked it up with a yamaha 7063 receiver, clean power, really went the whole nine yards. absolutely love the sound but the down side now is it's making me want to upgrade from my quintet 3's to something a little more substantial like these. when you run them with the bi-amp like I set them up the bass is just out of this world.
Summary: Originally bought the rc-52 centre to test vs. my JBL. Did not think there would be much of a difference but it was huge. That led to my purchasing these on the two for one deal about a week ago. Moved my F-2's to the rear and all I can say is wicked! The soundstage and clarity vastly improved. Soundtracks came to life and the detail was flawless. I like the f-2's but they simply do not compare.
Summary: Picked up a pair on the 2 for 1 sale. Was using F2's as fronts which are now my rear speakers. 82's are a nice step up sound wise. Much bigger sound stage and the clarity is unreal. Mated to a Pioneer vsx-1325k perfect match. I am still breaking them in so I am looking forward to even better sound. Also switched out my JBL centre for the Klipsch rc-52. Thinking I might go back and get the rc-62 instead although I do have a 12" sub so not sure if I need it.
Summary: Bought these over a year ago for my front towers. After 10 minutes of listening i was hooked. Have since purchased rc62 centre, rb61 for rear and rs62 for surrounds. The sound for watching movies or music is incredible!
