Summary: I picked these up at Tweeter before they went under for $380 bucks each. All I can say is that's a steal for this kind of sound quality. I have these set up in my living room for 2 channel listening only with no sound altering (eq, or amp with tone controls). Just a high end cd player, a Trends 10.1 integrated amp and these speakers.
Summary: Uuuh...Huh huh.... cool. Otherwise I'm speachless. I am buying two more for the rear channels and driving all of the neighbors for blocks out of their brains. Louder than the giant speakers from the 80's when I was a teen, but sound quality is the best I have heard, of course I coupled with a $4000 Denon (7.1ch) receiver and a Blu-ray player. Buy these and then watch Apocolyse Now or Predator and you might pee yourself from joy or fear...or both. Good Luck.
Summary: No need for hearing aids lol or maybe yes after a few years of rocking out to my 4 RF82's, one RPW10 sub, one SW110B sub, and a pair of RS42 book shelf and a RC62 center speaker. All powered by Pioneer. This ====== spoiled, can't handle listening to sub par equipment. All bought on sale though. Smoken deal considering the top quality of the manufacturing. All I can say is hold on to your hat. To buy this quality in an other brands prepare to sell the farm.
Summary: I originally ordered these and they did not show up. However, after phoning Nintronics I had the owner phone me back and explain the problem was with the Klipsch distribution point in Ireland and no fault of theirs. I then received a call from Klipsch in Ireland who promised to ship them Next Day to me at their cost. They indeed deed and they arrived next day.
Summary: I got one pair when they were on sale before Christmas. My ears are not very picky so I can't complaint about their sound. So far I am happy with my choice. The only downside of my story is that they make my subwoofer seem to be redundant since they can provide pretty heart-pounding boom already by themselves.
Summary: Good all round Tower speaker have them paired with an NAD Amp.HIFI good sound lots of Bass even without a Sub. Some mids are missing and somtimes washed out still for the sale price I got them for they were a good buy, keeping in mind these are mass produced speakers will ensure you are not disappointed
Summary: I have seven of these towers running in a 7.2 setup. Fantastic for home theatre use, as the highs are very detailed. They do sound a bit "bright," so depending on your musical tastes these speakers may be a bit too detailed. A lot of this also comes down to the receiver you pair with these speakers. I'm currently using a Harmon Kardon AVR 3600, and will be swapping that out for a Denon X4000 in a couple of days. Do your research when buying a receiver to pair with these.
Summary: I have always used Energy speakers so the "highs" that come with the Kilpsch horns are very welcome. The sound is so crisp that I am honestly hearing sounds in movies that I never heard before. The best speakers I have ever owned, without a doubt.
Summary: Phenominal set of speakers for the price($[...] on sale) You do need a decent receiver to run them properly but even a cheap one will work with good results. You can't find a better tower for that price.
Summary: After having purchased the above product and being disappointed by the distortion at low volumes, I decided to buy the Klipsch RF82's based on reviews and a Black Friday sale. These speakers fill the room with phenomenal bass and clarity and I'm quite impressed. I went with banana plugs for a clean wire set up and connected via Pioneer receiver. Very happy!
