Summary: The best investment that I have ever done. I have had the opportunity, during many years, to listen different brands of speakers, and these ones have excellent sound comparing them with very expensive ones. I love them.
Summary: I can honestly say I have never heard a better sounding speaker. Paired with a HK3490. It makes 5.1/7.1 HT Box systems sound like transistor radios. Incredible reference sound, endless depth and clarity! If your sitting in a couch the highs are about 1-2" above ear level.
Pros: Great power handling at a reasonable limit giving you a variety of amp choices without breaking the >700$ price point.
Cons: They are heavy, but that attributes to tight bass. Back firing vents. Need 6-18" between the wall and speaker.
Summary: I don't usually do these reviews but the service and speakers were so exceptional I had to write something. I received these speakers promptly after ordering - 2 days - which for the size and quantity of packages I thought was exceptional. Exceeded their estimated delivery by 3 days.
Summary: Considering I have had other Klipsch speakers for fifteen years (KM-4 & KM-6 with Onkyo 5.1 receivers) the sound quality is nothing short of what I would expect from the brand...beautiful sound, solid, attractive enclosure...
Summary: I am looking for front speakers and a receiver to start a home theater system. I want the front speakers to really excel at music because I enjoy listening to music in 2 or 2.1 channel stereo. If the speakers can handle music well I am confident they will be able to handle movies.
Summary: Love these speakers, especially for live recordings. Warning though, a large room is needed. I use these speakers for home theater as well. I use the bi-amp feature and really enjoy the fullness the added power provides.
Summary: I owned older Infinity's and I bought these to replace them. These speakers are awesome. Great sound reproduction, awesome bass, mids and highs. I have listened to Polks, Definitive technology and several others and Klipsch, in my opinion, is the best speaker on the market for the price range, and...
Summary: I matched these up with the RC-62 II, 2 RS-52 II, 2 RB-81 II, 2 RW-10d, and 2 pair of RB-51 for my wide and high front. The extremely helpful folks at Klipsch say that there is no problem mixing Reference and Reference II speakers.
