Summary: I have been a passionate listener to classical music for 66 years, starting with 78rpm records and moving on to the latest offerings. I still have an excellent Quad system as well as British speakers from the 1950's. These Klipsch speakers seem to me do a very commendable job. Okay, my hearing is not quite what it once was and I have no doubt there are even better speakers available, if you can afford them, but these speakers are not likely to disappoint anyone.
Best I've ever heard. Perfectly clear audio for movies, video games, and music. Everytime.

Summary: Perfectly clear audio for movies, video games, and music. Okay, I picked up two of the RF-82 IIs from another deals site paired w/ the SW-310 Klipsch subwoofer. I have them hooked up with bi-amped Sewell Silverback 12 guage quality cables (purchased from Amazon), a Monster HTS-1600 power conditioner (purchased from Amazon), 1st Generation Sony PS3, Onkyo TX-515 (purchased from Amazon), and a 46" Sony Bravia XBR-7 tv.
Summary: I am using a Onkyo TX nr-818, and i Bi-amped these speakers. After calibrating them I connected my iPhone and played some Rolling Stones, Sympathy for the Devil. When the congo drums started in a large smiled forced its way on my face. It sounded like it was right in the room with me. I put on Queen and could hear clearly the band suck in air before the next of each verse of Bohemian Rhapsody.
Summary: I put these on the back right and left side of my surround speakers and all I can say is WOW! Maybe I went overkill for the back two speakers but I wanted something at about ear level without having to mount anything on the walls. These are absolutely killer speakers that will rock your world if you have the budget for them.
Summary: I bought mine last year on the holidays to be part of my media room and now after many months I can say these are really great speakers. As part of my research I went to different stores (Best Buy/Magnolia) and Fry's and listened to different equivalent speakers (similar specs and price range) including Polk, Definitive Tech., Martin Logan and B&W.
Attractive, High Quality, Heavy speakers at a Fair price for Klipsch

Summary: Since I am a novice, I am not going to comment much on the sound quality of these; but, even I can tell they sound much better than the old floor standing Audio Polk's I replaced. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing & do feel/believe I have received speakers which are above the norm in quality and sound. Also, based upon comparison shopping amongst different Kipsch distributors, I am very pleased with the price I paid for them.
Summary: Realize this is a big speaker and much larger than I expected. I would have probably gotten the 62's if I realized how large they were but I am not disappointed. I cannot turn it up to much to distort the sound. I can be Bi-wired which I have not experimented with and excepts banana plugs or wires. Great speaker and out of my league as a novice.
Great speakers at a great price with very good quality.

Summary: I purchased the speakers based on the price and purported quality of Klipsch, I am aware that people either love the horn tweeter or hate it. Given that the RF-82II is just one step below their top of the line I decided to give it a try based on reviews I have researched. I set it up as a stereo type system in which I bi-amplified both speakers with the woofers hooked up to one amplifier and the tweeters hooked up to a separate amplifier, I then added a pair of Martin...
