Klipsch RF-62

The RF-62 from Klipsch is a floor standing loud speaker set from the US-based manufacturer of high quality audio equipment. Part of the highly rated Klipsch Reference Series, the RF-62 promises only the best technology and high grade materials to provide the “Ultimate Sound Experience.”

The RF-62 speaker set comes with a right and left channel floor standing speakers that measure 8.5 x 40.6 x 15.5 inches (W x H x D) each (including the feet) and collectively weigh approximately 54 pounds. The two speakers have an elegant vinyl wood grain finish and is available in a black ash color. The speaker set also comes with detachable speaker grilles that connect via magnets. The grilles, designed by Klipsch to complement the look of the system, are low diffraction and do not interfere with the sound waves.

The Klipsch RF-62 has a stiff cabinet to minimize vibrations. The rear firing ports helps to further minimize noises caused by turbulence while the baffle ribbing improves the quality of audio. The inner wiring is a custom job by Klipsch while the crossover uses only high quality components.

This high quality speaker set utilizes Klipsch’s “Tractrix horn loaded, titanium dome compression driver” which has been further improved to produce a more natural sound. For exceptional power and clarity, the 1 inch tweeters are made of titanium with a ceramic motor construction. Bass response is handled by two 6.5 inch cone subwoofers featuring “Cerametallic” materials with copper dust caps.
