Speaker bargain of the century

Jackson, Crutchfield
4 February 2014
  • Summary: It's hard to believe the cherry finish is cheaper. It looks very warm and realistic. But you want to know about the sound. While they do require a break in period to bring out full depth (they are bright out of the box), once they are broken in the deliver phenomenal sound. Particularly with vocals, these speakers are relaxed and won't wear you out for hours of listening enjoyment.
  • Pros: Looks, sound, craftsmanship, stability
  • Cons: A little on the heavy side but not much of a con. Requires some break in time to truly sound expressive.

User Review

Gary a Casual Listener, Audio Review
2 January 2014
  • Summary: I purchased a complete set of speakers from http://www.sounddistributors.com/ and could not be happier with the system or the service I received. Sound Distributors were very helpful and directed me with what type of speaker would best fit my application. I was skeptical buying on line with this type of purchases but was shipped same day as ordered and arrived on scheduled date.

Next Generation Loudspeaker

Lambo, Crutchfield
25 December 2013
  • Summary: Nice speakers, beautiful cabinets and very excellent sound quality. They play very sharp clean sound at any volume and take little power to drive compared to my old speakers. I did however like the powered sub-woofers in the Polk towers I previously owned although at 15 years old with one blown it was time for a change. I'm thrilled with these Klipsch RF-62's and with the loudness button on my 85W RMS Onkyo receiver I still get a decent base response.
  • Pros: Clear crisp sound at any listening level, beautiful cabinet and reasonable price for a speaker at this level.
  • Cons: None regarding the speaker but I do miss powered sub-woofer thump!

Solid

Damon, Crutchfield
20 November 2013
  • Summary: Love these speakers. They do sound a little "bright" out of the box, but everything I read says they need to be broken in for a little while before they give a nice "warm" sound. I have them paired with a Pioneer SC-1223-K which I've also read will contribute to that endeavor. They are very solid and well-built, and look beautiful with grill or without. The grill is magnetic for easy removal and restoration. Very happy with purchase.
  • Pros: Construction, Crystal-clear sound, looks, Klipsch brand.
  • Cons: None.
