Summary: I have been a Klipsch speaker fan since ~1990. I still use my KG 5.2 speakers for my front channels. The reference RS-62 surrounds are fantastic! They are well made, efficient, and nicely reproduce highs and midrange clearly. They work well as a surround for home theatre, as well as for speakers to round out the room with music. I am running a Denon AVR-4311, and a Klipsch RW 12ii for the subwoofer.
Summary: These speakers comes ready to hang on the wall with just a screw drilled into a stud, which avoids you having to buy a shelf. They sound great, look great and produce both crisp and deep sounds quite well. For the money, these rears are absolutely worth adding to your HT. Please note that these are fairly big for rears. So, make sure you measure and plan your space when considering these.
Summary: I had the RB51ii's for surrounds before I upgraded to these bad boys. I loved the 51ii's but these are unbelievable. Lets just say you wont be lacking in the surround dutys with these behind you. Amazing speakers!! I have these paired up with RF52ii's up front with a RC62ii center and a Denon AVR. Pure enjoyment to say the least. Highly recommend!!
Pros: Everything you ever wanted for surround dutys!
Summary: these bipole speakers sound great in a surround sound setup i have 4 of them and they do defuse the sound when they should but also localize sound when a movie sound track makes them.you can get good deals on these from 1call & IQ entertainment i got a pair from each seller & both sellers were great with no problems.just remember these are BIG but klipsch does make smaller versions of them.i use these with the klipsch rf 7 2's,rb 61 ll, & rc 64 ll driven by a outlaw 7125...
Summary: I decided to buy Klipsch centre RF 64II and RS62II surround after hearing them with a friends Sonus Farber Grand Piano's (I had/have v.1 of these). They melded well so I bought them. Two weeks after I got them I had a rush of blood and bought Paradigm S8's!! They still fit in very well for BD/ film however after tweaking down the Klipsch db efficiency. Of course they aren't as good with music as the S8s - but then I listen in stereo or direct anyway.
