Summary: I've been using this speaker (along with the rest of my Klipsch speakers) for almost two years now, and the sound just keeps getting better. My amplifier allows me to set the relative volume (as most do) but I really don't have to mess with this (center) speaker at all. It's crisp, clear, and full bodied (just like a fine wine).
Summary: I've got a 7.1 surround system powered by a Yamaha RV2400. It gave what I thought was good sound however my center speaker was an AR with 4 1/2 speakers. I got it in my mind that I'd like to update my stereo and this was the first speaker to be upgraded. I've matched it to my Klipsch Forte and the difference is like night and day. I'm hearing things in movies that I never heard before. If I crank up the volume, it is crisp and clear. This speaker is amazing.
Summary: i been using this center for about a month now,it works great, good sound, but maybe i was expecting more since it was expensive and it is a klipsch, but to be fair im still using an old onkyo receiver that i bought about 6 years ago with a complete surround system,im gonna soon purchase a yamaha 2065 receiver,im hoping it will be better,as far as sound,it has great highs,so make sure tou have a good sub for this unit, trust me it will make it 100 percent better,i had an old...
Summary: Having had this speaker for about 3 years I thought I would say a little about it. I have it paired with an old (1980's)pair of Klipsh Heresy II's on an older Marantz pro-logic receiver 100 watts x 5 . I use it exclusively for music and for this paired with the heresy's it pretty much awesome.
Summary: This center speaker is great for movies and music alike. It is a "monster" in size, but, it delivers in all the areas a center speaker is supposed to. Just make sure you have room to place where you want it. It's a Klipsch with the famous klipsch sound, it looks pretty awesome too!
Summary: Make sure you really consider that the footprint of this speaker is 12" deep, about 24 inches left to right, and it weighs over 30 pounds! I mean really plan where exactly you plan to put this thing because it is a monster of a center, especially if you are used to 5.25 inch woofers or smaller units..
Summary: I purchased this center to replace my Onkyo system. I purchased this RC-62 because it is matched bettter with my RF-82 towers. The sound is awesome - considerably fuller and more vibrant than the Onkyos. Klipsch is known, among other things, for their "horn" tweeters, which produce bright, in-your-face, highs. This works exceptionally well for home theater usage (so you can hear what people are saying in movies and on TV.
Summary: Finally got this on sale and it was worth the wait. Vocals come through clear and are not muddied by background music as they were with my smaller center. Love the size. I built a box to match and sit on top of the tv stand so I could slide it in and set the TV on top. This put it at the perfect height. The sound is very clear and you don't have to put a lot of power through it to get good sound. I was looking at the RC52's but wanted this one more.
