Summary: I like these a lot. Very good tonal balance and no big complaints other than price. As others have said, these could easily serve as main speakers especially if used with a sub. I've subsequently bought a Fluance XL speaker set piecemeal, so I should note that the Fluance XL7S surround speakers look and sound better for considerably less money. One caveat: If you need a small bookshelf speaker, the RB-41 is somewhat smaller and more compact than the Fluance.

Summary: My opinion of these speakers depends upon how you intend to use them and your expectations. If you are looking for small bookshelf speakers to use a mains in a 2.1 or 3.1 setup, than I would rate these as a 4. However, I had VERY high expectations. I had a previous pair of Klipsch RF82's as my main speakers. They were phenomenal. I was hoping the RB-41's would sound nearly the same, with some loss of bass of course.
Summary: First of all if anybody that knows me ,knows i hate writing reviews! but i had to take the time out to opinion-ate on this product & SELLER . When i first purchased this system i thought i was gonna have to exchange the sub (cause anything free is usually a cheap quality most of the time ) not this bad boy ! after hooking up the sub and turning it up, this sub has tight deep bass that will fill any room. Trust me when i say this .
